Grand Canyon Lodge North Rim

Open from Mid-May to Mid-October. Total 205 motel and cabin rooms, a National Historic Landmark, located on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The Lodge has rustic motel rooms and cabins, a magnificent dining room with a view of the canyon, a sun room, snack shop, saloon and a gift shop. The area also has a campground, camper store, service station and laundromat.
Motel rooms feature one queen bed, private bathroom and telephone. Western Cabins have two queen beds, full bath,separate/private entrance. Frontier Cabins have one double bed and one single bed, a 3/4 bath and telephone. No television, no air conditioning, no pets or cooking allowed in all rooms. All rooms are non-smoking rooms.

From Las Vegas, NV:
Drive north on I-15 for 128 miles/ 206 km, just past St. George, UT to Rt 9.
Drive east on Rt 9 for 10 miles/ 16 km to Rt 59.
Continue east on Rt 59 for 32 miles/ 51 km. (At the Utah/Arizona state line, the highway changes to Rt 389.
Continue east on Rt 389 for 33 miles/ 53 km to the junction with US 89a.
Continue east on US 89a for 30/ miles 48 km. to the junction with Rt 67.
Drive south on Rt 67 for 43 miles/ 70 km directly to the North Rim.

Take I-40 east to Highway 89.

Motel Rooms
All rooms are non-smoking rooms. All rooms have telephones. No television, no air conditioning. No pets or cooking allowed in all rooms.
40 Motel Rooms feature one queen-size bed
and a private bathroom. Motel rooms sleep three people maximum with the addition
of a rollaway bed (additional charges apply).
52 Western Cabins are spacious, with two queen-size beds, full bath and a front porch. All are nestled in the pines. Most of these cabins sleep four people comfortably. Rollaway beds and cribs are permitted. Four of these cabins are ADA accessible. Two have one queen-size bed and full bath with bars, and two have one queen-size bed and a roll-in shower.
28 Pioneer Cabins have two bedrooms separated by a 3/4 bath (shower-only). One bedroom has one double bed and one single bed and the other has two single beds. These rooms sleep five people comfortably. Rollaway beds are not permitted.
Frontier Cabins
85 Frontier Cabins sleep three people maximum with one double bed and one single bed. They also have 3/4 bath (shower only). Rollaway beds are not permitted. Two of these cabins offer limited ADA accessibility and feature one double bed and 3/4 bath. |
